Remedi SeniorCare is seeking a dynamic Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities. 

Location: On site at our closed-door pharmacy (962 Dorset Rd, Troy)

Salary range: $16-$18/hour plus weekend shift differential ($2/hr weekends)

Schedule: 2nd  shift: start time between 2pm-6pm (8hr shifts)

Monday - Friday, rotating holidays and weekends

Key Responsibilities:

As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician with Remedi SeniorCare, you'll play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include swiftly and accurately entering prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system. Additionally, you'll communicate with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses to their needs.

Under the guidance of a pharmacist and in compliance with State law, Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for:

  • Efficient order entry and follow-up
  • Troubleshooting prescription/patient data entry discrepancies
  • Ensuring accurate and timely prescription/patient information input
  • Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals
  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Must work with urgency and timeliness

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy is preferred, but not required (good standing)

 

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong computer skills
  • Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
  • Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
  • Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required
