In this role, you will visit our facilities and perform audits and inventory on our Interim System Boxes.

What You Will Do:

 

  • Prepare and ship medications for on-site dispensing systems based on schedules and reports.
  • Partner with field technicians to ensure timely medication delivery and accurate off-site formulary management.
  • Provide hands-on support and replenishment for various dispensing systems when needed.
  • Serve as the liaison between customer facilities and the pharmacy, addressing any system-related concerns with professionalism.
  • Assist with the education and troubleshooting of dispensing equipment and processes for pharmacy staff and customer facilities.
  • Conduct monthly cycle counts on interim systems to ensure accurate inventory.
  • Become the on-site subject matter expert for remote system software and equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Represent Remedi SeniorCare positively in interactions with vendors and customers.
  • Manage billing for interim items, including controls, IVs, and off-site store products.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist nursing staff with using dispensing systems at assigned homes.
  • Escalate medication discrepancies and collaborate with the pharmacy team to resolve issues.
  • Handle system updates, changes, and communication with remote support staff.
  • Pull medications for all assigned implementations and ensure accurate documentation for medications in transit.
  • Regularly review and correct any weekly discrepancies.
  • Contribute to special projects that help ensure seamless pharmacy operations.

 

 

What you will bring:

  • Must be registered by the state board of pharmacy registration and be in good standing.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician or in a related pharmacy operations role.
  • Must have a driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written, English proficiency required).
  • A customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-managed, proactive work style with the ability to excel in team environments.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with IV medications, controlled substances, and overall pharmacy operations is a plus.
