About the Role
As a Clinical Service Center (CSC) Technician, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists with daily operations. You’ll handle clinical claims, process prior authorizations, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Your work will directly impact the quality of care we provide to our clients.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with CSC pharmacists to gather formulary alternatives.
- Complete and submit prior authorization forms as directed, ensuring timely processing.
- Accurately document actions taken to resolve clinical rejections in our pharmacy systems.
- Communicate effectively with customers, insurance companies, and internal teams to resolve clinical claims.
- Keep organized records of CSC documentation related to claims management.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Work with CSC Pharmacists and the Director to achieve department goals.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our client services, policies, and procedures.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- National/State Pharmacy Certification is a plus, but not required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Understanding of medical terminology, medical billing, and analytical skills are preferred but not required.
- Experience in patient accounts or billing is a bonus.
Candidate must live within a commutable distance to Troy, Ohio for 3-6 months of onsite training Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30PM. Role is remote after training
Shift - 2:30pm - 11pm or 3pm to 11:30pm, Rotating weekend schedule, about every 5-6 weeks (Sat to Sun 10am-6pm)
