About the Role:
As a Staff Pharmacist, you'll play a vital role in meeting the medication needs of our long-term care pharmacy clients. You'll ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of prescription medications while upholding our company's quality standards, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Process new patient referral prescriptions and dispense medications accurately.
- Collaborate closely with Pharmacy Technicians and Order Entry Technicians to ensure efficient medication preparation and dispensing.
- Provide client care, including patient follow-up and monitoring clinical data.
- Input information accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain safety practices and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Prioritize customer focus, building trust and respect with internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Pharmacy.
- Valid Pharmacist License.
- Minimum of one year recent experience in an acute-care setting preferred.
- Experience with intravenous admixtures and therapy desired.
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
- Strong organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
