Clarest Health is looking for a Vice President of Billing in the Midwest Area!

Clarest Health, the parent company of Remedi SeniorCare, is looking for a dynamic leader for our Billing division. As the Vice President of Billing, you will be a vital member of our leadership team, overseeing billing processes' strategic and operational aspects for our customers and third-party payers. You will lead and mentor a team to ensure efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, financial acumen, clinical expertise, and a strategic mindset.

This position is remote with up to 20% travel.

What you will do:

  • Provide strategic and operational oversight of billing operations for customers and third-party payers.
  • Supervise all billing departments, including intake, third-party reimbursements, billing, and the Clinical Services Center.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive business relationships with healthcare executives to support company initiatives.
  • Lead short- and long-term strategic practices to enhance sales and gross profit margin.
  • Ensure operational excellence to facilitate timely and accurate delivery of pharmaceuticals.
  • Monitor contracts and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and adequate reimbursement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, client success, and pharmacy locations to deliver best-in-class customer service.
  • Establish and foster collaborative relationships with third-party payers.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve reimbursement items to ensure accuracy and proper payments.
  • Utilize KPIs and metrics to drive process efficiencies and optimize performance.
  • Lead reimbursement aspects of key strategic growth initiatives and prospective acquisitions.
  • Harness technology to drive process efficiencies and enhance customer service.
  • Manage the billing operations budget and oversee resource utilization.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

What you will bring:

  • Residents of the Midwest or Mid-Atlantic Regions of the United States preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Pharmacist licensure (RPh or PharmD) with significant financial or payer experience highly preferred.
  • 8-10 years of leadership experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry, with a minimum of 5 years in management.
  • Proven track record in third-party billing and/or healthcare experience.
  • Understanding of long-term care, mail order, retail or home care industries
  • Framework experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
