This position is remote with up to 20% travel.

What You Will Do:

As a Pharmacist, Formulary Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management and maintenance of compound and non-compound formularies across all pharmacy locations. Reporting to the Remedi Vice President of Operations, you will lead efforts to optimize formulary management processes, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role will also involve developing and implementing training programs to support formulary management and maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and audit formulary settings and information across all sites to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  2. Develop, implement, and maintain training programs to ensure staff demonstrate understanding and competence in formulary management.
  3. Assist with both large and small-scale formulary changes and upgrades.
  4. Support formulary pricing and Automatic Therapeutic Interchange when appropriate.
  5. Identify formulary issues and concerns and develop/implement corrective action plans.
  6. Manage pharmacy formulary audit reports and make necessary updates when required.

What You Will Bring:

  • Resident of a Midwest or Mid-Atlantic State preferred
  • Registered Pharmacist with a BS or PharmD in pharmacy.
  • Minimum two years of experience in formulary programming and management/oversight.
  • Experience with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc). Framework experience is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer service focus.
  • Dependable with the ability to be flexible, take initiative, and work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and time management skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with a pleasant, outgoing, and caring attitude.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA/Privacy laws and company policies.

Travel: Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time if required.
